After the Miss Hong Kong Final: In Macau's Halls, the Line-up Is Yours to Choose

Sunday night, the Miss Hong Kong final on the TV, you sunk into the sofa with the remote resting on your stomach. Twelve women walk out one by one, and the group chat is arguing the whole time: number one or number two, number eight is honestly better looking. When the crown finally lands, the people who decided are the row of judges on stage. You watched all evening and never got a vote.

The row in the hall: three houses, three ways of looking

Majesty Spa has the hall closest to that Sunday-night picture. The therapists stand in a row in the hall and you sit opposite, close, with no screen in between. Therapists are on from 14:00, so an early-evening arrival meets the full line-up. See someone you like and you say so; there is no host reading out numbers.

Manhao Spa in Taipa has the biggest reception stage in Macau, with the walk-on running from 14:00, team after team along the runway, on a scale the TV catwalk never reaches. It is an evening house: it closes at six in the morning and has no overnight, so it belongs in the first half of the night.

Number Nine Spa runs a different kind of stage, a fashion-show walkway with an LED wall and theatre-grade light and sound, with the new line-up on from 15:00. It is open 24 hours and you can stay overnight, so once the walk-on is over nobody is hurrying you out.

The TV crowns one winner. Here you do not have to pick just one

Victoria Sauna on the fifth floor of the L’Arc hotel runs its buy-one-get-one as a happy hour from 13:00 to 06:00 the next day: one price, two therapists, six combinations at MOP 3,998 to 5,598 as of September 2026, plus a 10% service charge, with therapists on from 13:00 to 06:00. Prices are as of September 2026 and the current menu confirmed when you book. It runs no show and no formal selection round: you tell the manager what you like and they come to meet you one at a time, face to face, both of them, at whatever pace you set and with nobody hurrying you. The house calls it the easiest matching in Macau.

The people in the group chat can come too

The friends who argued number one against number two all evening can cross with you. Clube Rio on the third floor of the Rio Hotel in NAPE is KTV-first: multinational therapists sing and drink with you in a private room, each friend books their own companion, and the group chat’s argument simply moves into the room. It runs from 19:00 to four in the morning with no overnight, so if you want to stay until daylight after the singing we hand you on to the next house.

Coming alone is just as good. The Excellent Sauna opens at noon with therapists on from the same hour, so you can arrive in the afternoon, soak and steam first, take your time in the hall, and its Japanese-theme rooms are the signature. At Empire Sauna and Shang Pin Spa the therapists work until six in the morning, so leaving Hong Kong after work still lands you inside the window.

After the row

Once you have chosen and the session is done, it is usually past midnight. If you want to stay until morning, Majesty, Number Nine, Empire, Shang Pin and East Castle Spa all have lounge recliner areas, Victoria has an overnight rest area, and in the morning the car takes you back to the checkpoint. If you would rather go back to your hotel, say so before you leave and the car is downstairs.

“Can I really choose for myself in the hall?” Yes. At Majesty, Manhao and Number Nine you sit in the hall and watch, speak up when you see someone you like, and wait for the next if you do not; Victoria runs no show and has the manager bring them to you one at a time instead, which is still your choice. It is the biggest difference from the TV, and the thing first-timers find hardest to believe.
